Chieftain Mk5
[BLUEPRINT EDITED] Go make the Army of the Rhine proud! Erquadian Land Systems Engineering presents: a Chieftain Mk5 replica. Stats and armor profile replicated as closely as possible (using WT armor viewer; though with buffed lower glacis). ~53.8-54t. 120mm gun. And a decorative TOGS- very important. Crew space has been blueprint modified to provide more realistic performance. Commander doubles as radioman, and loader has load time performance closer to reality for an MBT. Fun fact, the actual turret probably isn't realistically as sloped as some might feel it was... (though we're limited by flat turret faces anyways and the Chieftain turret is pretty round). For historical accuracy, it's powered by a 6-cyl engine making ~750hp (just like the actual Leyland L60!), making it "decently" mobile. However, this can be easily upgraded to an 8-cyl engine for good power; just click the + cylinder button and good to go. (And for even more power, remove the 10 degree lower side angle and put in a 10-cyl with 4.8L per cylinder, which really gets this moving.) Read More195 downloads -

CTX Series - 10 Tank Progression from Interwar to Postwar
Following the defeat of Eliojs in the Great War, rearmament programs only began pursuing armored design once more in the early 1930s. The first domestically produced tank of the Interwar period, the CTA-35, proved to lack combat effectiveness and was mostly used as experience for the more effective CTK-37 medium tank. As the Second World War loomed and the armor development programs of other nations expanded, Eliojs progressively refined and developed the CTK-37 into a series of tanks, with the final CTK-42 pushing the limitations of the platform. With the war secured and an another conflict with the Eastern Bloc on the horizon, new dedicated platforms were developed to take advantage of the experience gained in WW2. The CTK-44 represented the new height of medium tank design in the late to postwar period, only being succeeded by the "main battle tank" concept in the 1950s. The CTV-56, a universal tank replacing all medium and heavy tanks in service, concluded the 19 year lineage of the CTX series. BT-5
The BT tanks (Russian: Быстроходный танк/БТ, romanized: Bystrokhodny tank, lit. "fast moving tank" or "high-speed tank")[1] were a series of Soviet light tanks produced in large numbers between 1932 and 1941. They were lightly armoured, but reasonably well-armed for their time, and had the best mobility of all contemporary tanks. The BT tanks were known by the nickname Betka from the acronym, or its diminutive Betushka. The successor of the BT tanks was the famous T-34 medium tank, introduced in 1940, which would replace all of the Soviet fast tanks, infantry tanks, and medium tanks in service. SU-122-54
The self-propelled gun, known as "Object 600", was a vehicle based off the T-54A design and carried the 122 mm gun infamous on the IS heavy tank series. The vehicle was known as the SU-122-54, but it has sometimes also be referred to as the IT-122 as well. The chassis was modified for the vehicle, with the large gap present between the first and second road wheels moved to between the third and fourth. The superstructure, like traditional designs, was built onto the hull and held the 122 mm gun. Secondary armament consisted of two KPVT heavy machine guns on coaxial and pintle-mount for anti-aircraft purposes. The general design was developed and built between 1955 and 1957, with a total of 77 units made with minor differences between each batch. Read More53 downloads
